Installing data from DVD

Load Enerdeq relational and spatial data from a DVD you receive from IHS.

Incremental updates enable you to maintain fresher data while reducing the overall time required to install new data. For details on incremental updates, see Related Topics below.

To install data from DVD

1. Click the Windows Start button, point to Programs, then IHS Energy, then Enerdeq Desktop International, and then click IHS Enerdeq Admin Console International.

2. Using the Admin Console navigation tree, click Data Installation and Update.

The Data Installation and Update dialog box appears.

3. Insert the data DVD you received from IHS in your DVD-ROM drive and press SHIFT to prevent the auto-run feature from initializing.

4. Browse to the DVD location, and then click Load Data.

5. Verify the latest updates have been applied by selecting Help from the main toolbar menu, and then Data Currency.

The latest data is visible to Enerdeq users the next time they launch Enerdeq.
